Let's Raise the Roof
There's No Place Like Home
We are thrilled to announce the return of our Spring Auction and invite you to save the date for the Gael-a Auction on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 5:30 PM at St. Mary’s Cultural Center.
This year, we’re sweeping you off your feet and taking you to a place somewhere over the rainbow! Where pink goes with green, generosity defies gravity, and inspiration knows no limits. Rediscover the heart, courage, and intellect of our St. Michael community as the Wizard of Oz welcomes you to One Night in Emerald City.
For generations, St. Michael has been a beloved home for students, families, and staff. To continue providing the strong, faith-filled education our community cherishes, we aim to raise over $150,000 through this year’s auction. Achieving this goal will take the support of our entire community. Every contribution, no matter the size, strengthens our school and ensures that St. Michael remains a safe, vibrant, and thriving place for all who enter.
Your generosity can create a lasting impact on the lives of our students and staff. We invite you to join us in this inspiring effort and help us build a bright future for our school. Together, we can make this year’s Gael-a Auction truly extraordinary.

2.) Successful Silent Auction bidders will pay for the item (s) at the check-out counter or via self-check-out through the links provided by Clickbid. Paid receipts will be issued via email, and the merchandise can be claimed at the check-out table and other designated areas.
3.) At the conclusion of the Live Auction, successful Auction bidders will pay for the items at the Check-out counter or via self-check-out through the links provided by Clickbid. Paid receipts will be issued, and the merchandise can then be claimed.
4.) The check-out counter will open at 9:00 PM.
5.) Although the utmost effort has been made to accurately describe the items, neither St. Michael nor Matt Holiday, Auctioneer, shall be responsible for correct descriptions, authenticity, genuineness, or any defect. St. Michael and the Auctioneer make NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH RESPECT TO ANY ITEM SOLD. The items are not sold by the donors. No allowance will be made, or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging, or imperfection. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles, as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold "as is" and without recourse. All auction items and services must be used within the time limits stated and are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donors. Many items, services, and trips are subject to specific restrictions. Please note these conditions prior to bidding. Donors are unable to offer refunds or exchanges. Where applicable, the successful bidder is requested to contact the donor of the item or services purchased within two (2) weeks of the Auction to inform the donor of the winning bidder's name and the possible time when the service will be used. THE MAXIMUM TIME LIMIT FOR USING THE SERVICES PURCHASED UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IS ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. GIFT CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE REPLACED.
6.) Any sales tax, registration fees, or federal excise tax must be paid by the purchaser.
7.) ALL ITEMS MUST BE PROMPTLY REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES. St. Michael will not be responsible for and will not store any unclaimed items. ALL Auction purchases MUST be picked up by 10:30 pm on Saturday, April 25.
8.) Your cost in excess of the fair market value may be considered a tax-deductible contribution. Please consult your own tax advisor as to the tax consequences related to your purchase at the Silent and/or Live Auctions.
9.) Vacations, time-shares, travel, and accommodations may not be transferred from the original bidder to another person. Please see applicable donor restrictions.
10.) St. Michael is not responsible for cancellations or modifications made by the donor. We cannot guarantee the donor’s promises, services, or products, and we are unable to refund any money spent or donations, as ours is a charitable organization.
11) Please note that all unpaid accounts will be automatically charged to the card on file by 11:00 pm on April 25, 2026. No refunds will be given.
Silent Auction:
1.) Silent Auction items will be displayed throughout St. Mary’s Cultural Center.
2.) Each item will have a corresponding Bid Sheet, which will have pre-printed bid increments. On the Bid Sheet, write your bidder number next to the amount you would like to bid. Skipping bid increments is encouraged.
3.) The bid sheet may not be removed from the Bidding Table under any circumstances. If a bid sheet is missing, the item will be pulled from the Silent Auction.
4.) Bid increases on all items in the Silent Auction must be in whole dollar increments of at least the Minimum Raise Amount.
5.) Each new bid must be written on the top-most blank line available on the Bid Sheet. Do not cross out any other bids on the Bid Sheet.
6.) You may bid on each item as often as you wish. After you have made your bid, please allow others to bid.
7.) The last legitimate bid written BEFORE the announced closing time of the Silent Auction will constitute the winning bid - unless there are two or more active bidders on a selected item at the closing time. If this should occur, there will be a "bid off,” as noted in Silent Auction Rules #8. The interested parties are responsible for making their intent known to continue the bid process after the table closes.
8.) If there are two (2) or more active bidders on an item at the close of the Silent Auction, each bidder may be given the opportunity to submit bids by raising their paddle and bidding live. The highest bidder will obtain the item. The St. Michael Auction Committee reserves the right to referee any discrepancies.
9) Large items must be picked up on Auction night or the Monday after between 10 am and 1 pm at the St. Michael School. Must be prearranged with auction lead, Lauren Waligora.
Live Auction:
1.) The Live Auction will be conducted by Matt Holiday, Auctioneer.
2.) To enter a bid, you must hold up your Auction Bid Number. The auctioneer will acknowledge the highest bidder as the purchaser. The auctioneer's decision is final and absolute.
3.) All sales are final upon declaration of the word "sold" by the Auctioneer. Acceptance of the high bid becomes a binding obligation.
4.) Live Auction items must be redeemed within one year of the auction unless otherwise stated.
