The Game Plan

In 1985, he and his wife Darlene founded the Edward Lowe Foundation to do exactly that. Based at Big Rock Valley, a 2,000-acre property in Cassopolis, Michigan, the foundation works with second-stage entrepreneurs across the country. Second-stage companies are businesses with 10 to 99 employees and between $1 million and $50 million in revenue that have moved beyond startup and are ready to scale. Today, the foundation continues Ed's work by connecting entrepreneurs with peers, mentors, and tools they need to grow.

Going Once, Going Twice…
There may or may not be a professional auctioneer on the Edward Lowe Foundation team... but you'll just have to join us to find out who! What we can tell you is that seven one-of-a-kind experiences are on the block, and you won't find them offered anywhere else. Live auction items are available to in-person bidders only so make sure you're in the room!
From the Archives
Edward Lowe was always coming up with ideas (he was an entrepreneur, you know!). Big ideas, wild ideas, and plenty of ideas that probably raised a few eyebrows before they turned into something really special. The pickle barrel golf course is a perfect example, and it's still a favorite pastime of guests at Big Rock Valley decades later. (Ever wonder where it came from? We'll let Ed take it from here because nobody tells this story better than he does!)
While we won't be on the pickle barrel course, the Edward Lowe Invitational carries the same spirit Ed had from the start: get your friends together and have one heck of a time!
Thank you, sponsors!
