OFFICIAL RULES and CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FOR THE DRIVE AWAY FOR EDUCATION DRAWING AND ONLINE AUCTION

HOW TO ENTER AND WIN

You must be 18 years or older, be a resident of Texas and possess a valid Texas driver’s license to enter this Drawing and be able to claim the prize should your name be selected as the winner.

Drawing tickets are one (1) for $25, or three (3) for $50, 10 for $100, and are available for purchase only during the ‘Drawing Period’ beginning May 24, 2026 and ending August 9, 2026, at 11:55 pm.

All net proceeds of the Drawing will benefit TEXAS YES. TEXAS YES operates as a dba under SA YES, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit. TEXAS YES supports students in the San Antonio, Coastal Bend, Austin, and Dallas – Fort Worth communities. Funds will be used to purchase school supplies for elementary school children in need of such in designated Title 1 elementary schools in the San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, and Austin, Texas areas. Proceeds may also be used for the Little Locker Project or YES Grants. 

To enter, go to TEXASYESPROJECT.org or call (210) 298-8800 to purchase Drawing tickets. You will need to have a valid credit card to make a purchase. Successfully complete the online Drawing registration form with your name, address, phone number, credit card payment information, and click submit. No mechanically reproduced or incomplete entries will be accepted or be eligible. No mail-in Drawing purchases are allowed. You will not receive a phyiscal ticket, but will receive an email confirmation. If you do not have an email address, a paper confirmation can be sent to your address.

For each Drawing ticket purchased, the person whose name and information that is listed on the entry form will receive one (1) entry into the Drawing drawing. Drawing tickets will be issued as entries as received up until the declared entry deadline.

Drawing tickets cannot be re-sold or given away to another person or party. Only the registered name on the winning entry that is drawn will be allowed to claim the grand prize.

Odds of Winning are based upon the total number of Drawing entries purchased during the stated Drawing period.

Drawing Prizes

Weekly Prizes

Starting June 17, 2026, one eligible winner will win a $250 gift card. The drawings will be held weekly on the following days: June 17, 2026, June 24, 2026, July 1, 2026, July 8, 2026, July 16, 2026, July 22, 2026, and July 29, 2026.

Each weekly winner will be selected by a random drawing and the winner will be announced on Facebook and TEXASYESPROJECT.org. Winner may be announced on various news outlets. Any weekly winners are eligible for the grand prize, second and third place prizes.

On Augsut 5, 2026, one eligible winner will win a $1,000 gift card. The winner will be selected by a random drawing and the winner will be announced on Facebook and TEXASYESPROJECT.org. Winner may be announced of various news outlets. The winner is eligible for the grand prize, second and third place prizes.

Winners will be contacted via email and phone within 24 hours to claim their prize. Winner must return any needed paperwork within 30 days of the drawing to receive their prize(s). If the winner does not claim their prize(s) within 30 days of the drawing date, all prize(s) will be forfeited. 

Grand Prizes

Grand prizes will be drawn in the following order: 3rd ($2,500 Gas for a Year), 2nd ($4,000 Shoping Spree) and 1st ($47,000 – 63,000 valued vehicle).

Three winners will be chosen for three (3) prizes. One eligible winner will win “Gas for a Year”. This prize consists of $2,500 in gas, VISA, or American Express gift card(s) with an approximate value of $2,500. The winner will be selected by a random drawing that will be televised and announced on WOAI-TV on August 12, 2026 during the 10 pm news. There is no cash alternative prize available as per Texas state law and the selected winner must agree to accept the prize within 14 days of notification which may be done via phone, email, text, or U.S. Post Office. If the selected winner fails to claim their prize within 14 days, for whatever reason, they will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner can be selected.

One eligible winner will win a $4,000 “Shopping Spree”. This prize consists of $4,000 in VISA, or American Express gift card(s) with an approximate value of $4,000. The winner will be selected by a random drawing that will be televised and announced on WOAI-TV on August 12, 2026 during the 10 pm news. There is no cash alternative prize available as per Texas state law and the selected winner must agree to accept the prize within 14 days of notification which may be done via phone, email, text, or U.S. Post Office. If the selected winner fails to claim their prize within 14 days, for whatever reason, they will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner can be selected.

One eligible winner will receive their choice between six (6) different vehicles, each with an approximate value of $47,000-60,000. Choices include: Chevrolet - 2026 Silverado 1500 Crew LT 2WD - MSRP $52,290, Volkswagen - 2026 Atlas SE with Technology - MSRP $47,289, Volkswagen - 2025 ID. Buzz Pro S - MSRP $62,495, Jeep - 2026 Wrangler 4-Door Sport S 4X4 - MSRP $47,485, Kia - 2026 Sorento X-Line SX-Prestige 2.5T AWD - MSRP $50,189, and Nissan - 2026 Frontier Crew Cab PRO-4X 4X4 - MSRP $50,010. A 2025 or 2027 model may be substitued based on availability at the time of the drawing. In the event a prize is not available due to circumstances beyond the control of TEXAS YES Project and its afflilates, and Ancira Auto Group the winner may select a vehicle within the brands represented (Nissan, Chevrolet, Volkswagon, Jeep and Kia) valued at $47,000 MSRP. Winner is responsible for any cost above $47,000 and will be paid at the time the vehicle is selected. 

The winner will be selected by a random drawing that will be televised and announced on WOAI-TV on August 12, 2026 during the 10 pm news. There is no cash alternative prize available as per Texas state law and the selected winner must agree to accept the prize within 14 days of notification which may be done via phone, email, text, or U.S. Post Office. If the selected winner fails to claim their prize within 14 days, for whatever reason, they will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner can be selected.

The winner is solely responsible for any and all federal taxes, city, county & state sales taxes and vehicle registration fees in connection with winning the prize. The winner must sign and complete a federal W-9 form and W-2G based on the estimated retail value of the vehicle being awarded by August 31, 2026. Any federal withholding taxes must be paid to TEXAS YES Project upon delivery of the prize and no later than August 31, 2026. The winner cannot assign the prize to another person for any reason.

TEXAS YES Project and its affiliated sponsors and marketing partners reserve the right to substitute the Drawing prize for whatever reason, if necessary.

Employees of TEXAS YES Project, their affiliates, media partners, and their family members are ineligible to enter and win the Drawing prize.

DRAWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TEXAS YES Project operates as a dba under SA YES which is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit. 

TEXAS YES employees and family members and its sponsors, media partners*, marketing partners, affiliated marketing agencies, officers and employees, and employees of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc., San Antonio Television, LLC dba KEYE and all afflialted media partners are not responsible for lost, late, garbled, or misdirected entries, printing errors, server unavailability, computer or any other electronic malfunction. Any entries received that are duplicate, mutilated, tampered with, incorrect, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of TEXAS YES Project and will not be acknowledged or returned.

The vehicle Drawing prize (detailed above) is provided “as is” without any express or implied warranty of any kind other than the standard warranty that comes with the vehicle.

Each winner must sign and return a release and must show photo identification to claim his/her prize. TEXAS YES reserves the right to require additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding any prize based on the identification presented. This release will also allow TEXAS YES to share the winners’ name, voice recording, video appearance and photo likeness for any and all marketing and publicity purposes as it may deem desirable to communicate the winner of the Drawing and future Drawings. This includes postings on social media sites that TEXAS YES and its affiliated entities utilize to promote and communicate their non-profit activities and organizational information.

For the name of the Drawing prize winner, go to TEXASYESPROJECT.org any time after August 31, 2025 or send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to TEXAS YES Project, 7550 West IH-10, Suite 150, San Antonio, Texas 78229 within thirty (30) days of the last day of the Drawing entry period.

The Drawing decisions made by TEXAS YES (Drawing organizer), its officers, employees, sponsors, marketing partners, and their family members are final, and entrants accept this provision as a condition of entry into this charitable Drawing.

This Drawing is being held by SA YES, registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, according to the terms of the Charitable Drawing Enabling Act, is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
