Join us on Thursday, December 4, 5:30-9PM at the Sheraton in Framingham for the 2025 DREAM BIG Gala and Auction. 

Participate in this fun evening surrounded by colleagues, community leaders and Y supporters as we work together to raise funds to build access and opportunity for children and families in our community. The night features silent and live auctions, emceed by Y volunteer, Framingham resident, and NESN Sports Anchor Tom Caron and Y Board member and radio personality David O'Leary!

The program includes David McGillivray announcing this year's DREAM BIG honorees, Tom Caron and Robin Welch. We are excited to share their stories and how their leadership, commitment to community, and tireless support of programs helps ensure every child and family has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. 

The online silent auction takes place leading up to our gala and will open prior to the event, and conclude during the event at 8:00PM on December 4th. Our live auction will take place in- person during our DREAM BIG event.

The DREAM BIG Gala & Auction is more than a fundraiser, it’s a night that fuels connection, celebrates community champions like Tom and Robin, and powers the educational and developmental opportunities that help young people thrive. Every dollar raised directly supports pathways for youth to grow as learners, leaders, and confident changemakers. You won't want to miss this!

When you arrive there are passed hors d'oeuvres, a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and remember to stop and take a photo to share with your friends and community later. Enjoy the silent auction, cash bar and mingle, and then we will hit the dinner buffet to get ready for the program. 

Dress is business casual to festive and formal, it really is your choice! It's a night to have fun. 

The program will include the DREAM BIG honorees, Tom Caron and Robin Welch, some special guests and a Live Auction and Live Appeal.

Do I need to register to bid if I purchased a ticket and I'm attending the auction?

No! You will be converted into a bidder automatically when the auction opens so you can start bidding. 

I want to support the Y, but I cannot attend, can I participate in the online auction?

Yes! Click on the "participate in the online auction only" and you will be prompted to set up an account.  

How to Register to Bid

Click on register and complete, including cell phone and email address and a credit card. A credit card is required in order to bid on items. This information will ONLY be saved for check out and to communicate with you about the DREAM BIG event. 

How To Bid

1. Enter https://dreambiggala.cbo.io into your browser’s address bar or click on the linked url. 
2. Scroll to the bottom and enter in your bidder number, phone number or email address and tap GO.
3. Confirm you are the name listed (a password may be required at this time) then hit "Continue".
4. Once completely logged in, you can search by item #, keyword, or by category.
5. To place a bid tap on the blue "Bid/Info" button. There you can place a fast bid, bid or set a max bid, and read details about items. 
6. Tap on MENU > MY ITEMS to view your activity throughout the event.

Checkout From Your Phone

You can securely checkout from your phone with a credit card. Once you have a checkout available, a red "Pay!" button will appear at the top of your bidding screen. Tap on this button to proceed to checkout. *For one checkout, wait until all auction items (silent, live, appeal) have closed. You must check your items you are bidding on to see which ones you have won. 

Tips and tidbits

• I forgot my bidder #? Type your phone # or email address in the bidder # box. Tap GO. You also can tap on the "?" for help.
• How do I remove a bid? Right after you place a bid, you have the option to "undo" on the confirmation banner at the top of the screen. Once this banner goes away, you will need to contact Amy Miller at amiller@metrowestymca.org; 
• I already selected "no" or replied "STOP" to the SMS text message alerts, not realizing that I wouldn't receive outbid notices. Can I fix it? Yes! Text "START" to 56651 to begin receiving these once again.
• How do I place a Max Bid? To place a "max bid", tap on Bid/Info > BID/SET MAX > select the amount you are willing to spend on the item > SET MAX. The system will bid up to that amount for you automatically. You will be notified via text message if you are outbid on this item.
• Did I win? You will receive a notification from ClickBid that you are the winner. Also, once the auction has closed, you can look under MENU/MY ITEMS to view everything that you have won/purchased.
