In celebration of our founding in 2010, we have created our Giving Societies. They come with special updates and opportunities throughout the year.
- Ambassador Club: Support community growth. A one-time gift of $240 or $20/mo. for 12 mos. (We initially said $20.10/mo., but our giving software doesn't allow decimal points!)
- 2010 Society: Celebrate the year Communities First, Inc. began, and help build what's next. A one-time gift of $2,010 or $167/mo for 12 mos. (Again, imperfect math if you give monthly, but you get the idea.)

Founded in 2010, Communities First, Inc. (CFI) is dedicated to building healthy, vibrant communities through economic development, affordable housing, and innovative programming. Beginning in Flint, Michigan, we also serve Detroit, Lansing, and Saginaw, Michigan, and Gary, Indiana.
We focus on providing safe, quality, affordable housing and implementing programs that improve the quality of life for all. To date, we have developed and preserved over 700 units of quality, affordable housing.
We do much more than create housing — we build community through robust programs, events, and support services. Your generous contributions enable us to empower people through these efforts. We educate on financial literacy, connect entrepreneurs with resources, host arts and culture experiences, and lead community engagement opportunities. Our programs operate simultaneously to provide wrap-around support to community members. Annually, we serve and engage over 35,000 people.
