Participation in the 2022 Century Group Delta Health Classic auction constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below. The successful bidder agrees to read this information prior to bidding, purchasing or otherwise participating in any auction activity of this charity benefit.
- All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned items for either cash or other merchandise.
- After the auction closes, the successful bidder’s Name, Vital Sign Number and Table Number will be displayed beside the auction item name on signage in the silent auction area. Then, the item will be released to the bidder.
- All auction items must be removed from the premise this evening, with the exception of select, very large items. For those not attending this event in person, auction items can be picked up from Delta Hospital (5800 Mountain View Blvd) Tuesday June 28 - Thursday, June 30 between the hours of 11:00am- 5:00pm.
- As applies to these select items, the successful bidder is responsible for shipment or pick-up of these select items from the Foundation Office after the event.
- In the event a credit card charge is not approved, the successful bidder remains liable for all amounts owed.
- Every reasonable effort has been made to ensure that item descriptions are complete and accurate. Please read all item restrictions and conditions carefully.
- During the live auction, a declaration of sale by the auctioneer will constitute a contract for purchase of the particular item by the successful bidder. The auctioneer is responsible for the conduct of the auction and may accept or reject any bid. If there is a dispute, the decision of the auctioneer is final.
- In accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations, if the auction purchase price exceeds the item’s retail value by 25% or more, the purchaser can receive a tax receipt for the portion of the auction purchase price exceeding the item’s retail value.
