About the Foundation

Operation Breast Density (OBD), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about breast density and its crucial role as a risk factor for breast cancer development.

At OBD, our primary focus is on educating the community about breast density and the challenges it poses on breast cancer detection. We firmly believe that knowledge is empowerment, and by spreading awareness, we aim to equip women with vital information about their breast health.

One of our core initiatives is to ensure that all women, particularly those with dense breast tissue, have access to the supplemental imaging required for comprehensive screening. Through financial assistance programs, we strive to remove barriers and provide access to the necessary imaging to improve early detection rates.
