About Our Event

Khmer New Year is one of the most important cultural celebrations in the Cambodian community, symbolizing renewal, gratitude, and togetherness. Each year, this event brings together families, elders, youth, and community partners to celebrate Cambodian culture through traditional performances, food, and activities. We anticipate welcoming approximately 1,000 attendees from our local community and beyond, with many traveling from out of state and across the country to join the celebration.

The 2026 Khmer New Year Celebration is organized and led by CMAA in collaboration with local community organizations, agencies, the City of Lowell, the Lowell Police Department, the Clemente Park Committee, RCS Project, Inc., and other dedicated partners.
