CHRISTUS Santa Rosa San Marcos Foundation is proud to recognize Bruce Schneider for his extraordinary commitment to philanthropy and community service throughout his 52-year career with HEB. Throughout his career, Bruce has been a champion for the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos and local nonprofits. His legacy is measured not only by organizations he has supported, but by the countless lives that have been touched through his compassion and commitment. 

Your support makes a significant difference in the lives of the patients and families we serve. This year’s gala will raise vital funds for the purchase of an enhanced da Vinci surgical imaging camera system and a new orthopedic arthroscopy tower at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos. Our patient’s safety remains at the forefront of our minds. CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - San Marcos has had an A Rating by Leapfrog since 2022.  The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade assesses hospitals strictly on patient safety (e.g. inpatient injuries, infections and medical and medication errors).

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - San Marcos has long been a cornerstone of healthcare in the region, delivering compassionate care that aligns with the mission of CHRISTUS Health to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. This short-term acute care facility continues to serve the rapidly growing San Marcos community and surrounding areas with a comprehensive range of medical services and advanced technologies.

Gunnar Lathan will be the entertainment for the evening.

We are excited to feature Texas artist Gunnar Latham, whose authentic San Marcos roots and energetic performance captures the spirit of our celebration. He was born into a churchgoing, country music-loving family, and discovered a passion for performing and singing at an early age in his father’s church. He dedicated himself to honing his skills as a writer and performer and his work has been paying off with a growing Texas fan base. The future looks bright for this Texas cowboy.

The CHRISTUS Santa Rosa San Marcos Foundation was established in 2022 formerly Central Texas Medical Center Foundation founded in 1982. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (#74-2259907) to increase awareness and financial support for CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos. The focus of the Foundation is to educate the public and cultivate philanthropy in support of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos. Today, we continue to fund innovation, technology, capital facilities and equipment, community health and wellness programs, while looking for creative and meaningful ways to support advances in clinical excellence at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos.
