Our Event

Please join us for our 4th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at The Addison Park in Aberdeen, NJ from 6 pm - 10 pm. Our Master of Ceremonies, Jeremy Schaap is an ESPN host, author, director, and 13-time National Sports Emmy Award winner. Distinguished guests will include philanthropists, financial executives, business and community leaders, educators, and friends and supporters from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and beyond who will join us as we recognize two outstanding honorees: Steve Pellegrino, owner of Pellegrino Construction Services and Old Navy.

Steve Pellegrino is the founder of  Pellegrino Construction Services and a respected business and community leader, and volunteer.  Steve has been a longstanding supporter and advocate for the children and families we serve in PCA-NJ and ChildWIN®.

Old Navy team members have been volunteering for years to support PCA-NJ and ChildWIN®. They have organized fundraising activities, collection drives, and given their time to support babies and children in various programs.

We hope you’ll join us in saluting Steve Pellegrino and Old Navy for their dedication to the well-being of children.

About Us

About Us

The Child Wellness Institute -- known as ChildWIN® -- builds resilience and social-emotional health within children and families.  Our Healing Hearts® series of workshops provide an overview of the impact of trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on the developing child. We lead school personnel on the journey to develop a trauma-informed lens to better support students and their families. To date, we’ve reached more than 5,000 educators who teach thousands of children, and hundreds of parents.  Our Youth Resilience Program helps students develop communication skills, set goals, and build resilience. Research has shown “one caring adult” is needed to potentially change the trajectory of a child’s life.  We connect community leaders with underserved youth who benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities.

With your generous support, we will continue to expand our services and reach more children throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and beyond.
