Movies Under the Stars
Features
Every summer, CFI presents Movies Under the Stars – offering free family films shown outdoors, along with pre-movie parties featuring games, food, and prizes. Movies Under the Stars events take place in public green spaces in Flint, Detroit, Saginaw, and Gary, IN, drawing thousands of families each year.
This initiative provides wholesome programming for families in a safe environment that also promotes community building. This event connects families to community resources, promotes health and wellness, supports family literacy, provides exposure to STEM, incorporates arts and culture opportunities, and more. Everyone is welcome, and thanks to generous sponsors, there is no cost to attend.
