Auction Rules and Regulations
- The Virtual Auction will close on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 9 p.m. Eastern.
- Persons desiring to bid must do so by registering to bid and accessing the OneCause platform. An account can be set up by clicking the Profile icon and entering contact details and credit card information. Each increase in bid must meet or exceed the minimum increment assigned to each item. Bids may not be altered or withdrawn.
- Items can be picked up at the Catholic Charities Center at 2000 Main Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call 304-905-9860 to arrange a pick-up day and time. Some prizes are not able to be shipped due to size. If items remain unclaimed for 60 days, CCWVa reserves the right to sell the item. Proceeds from the sale of the item and your payment will be kept as a donation to CCWVa.
- All sales are final, there are no exchanges, and all items are sold “as is.” No refunds are available after purchase of the item. Guests are responsible for items once they are claimed.
- Catholic Charities West Virginia has attempted to describe and list in a virtual catalog on the Click Bid Virtual Platform items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items. No statement made at the auction or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability. Items may be added or withdrawn, without notice by CCWVa.
- The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify the amount of deduction.
- Some items are subject to limitations/restrictions listed in the descriptions and/or gift certificates. Lodging and restaurant items are subject to space availability and may be subject to blackout dates.
- Any trips or events comprising all or part of an auction lot shall, unless otherwise specified in the lot description, be subject to convenient scheduling by the lot donors and the successful bidder. Attention: Some trips and events are date specific and cannot be rescheduled.
- Auction service items must be used prior to the expiration date listed on the certificate or, if no expiration date is explicitly stated, within one year of this auction, unless otherwise agreed to by the seller. Seller does not make any representation of warranty and is not responsible for the quality or usability of any items sold.

Donations to CCWVa are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
