Special Musical Guests

From backroads honky-tonks to storied festival stages, our musical guests share a thread of grit, soul, and unmistakable Texas spirit—making them the perfect fit for the Silver Spur Soirée, where we gather to champion resilience, hope, and the strength of women rebuilding their lives.

Brigitte London has carried her powerhouse voice from Wisconsin to Texas, Nashville, and Louisiana, releasing ten albums along the way. She’s collaborated with icons like Jerry Reed, Porter Wagoner, and Marty Stuart, produced festivals and music series that champion independent artists, co-founded Outlaw Magazine, and hosted multiple national radio shows. Her work—featured on Discovery Channel’s Killing Fields—reflects her lifelong commitment to telling real women’s stories with honesty and heart. Brigitte’s passion for uplifting others mirrors the spirit of tonight: empowering women to reclaim their voices.

Pauline Reese, known as the “Queen of Texas Music,” has built a career defined by courage and reinvention. A Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, she’s released six albums (with her seventh on the way), performed at Willie Nelson Picnics and Farm Aid festivals, and earned multiple Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year awards. Pauline has weathered life’s hardest blows—from health crises to heartbreak—and risen time and again. As a mother, rancher, entrepreneur, and advocate, her music is steeped in the same determined hope the Crisis Center offers survivors. Her journey speaks directly to the mission of tonight’s Soirée: women lifting women.

Star DeAzlan brings the bold, new generation of Texas storytelling to the Silver Spur stage. Raised in a tiny riverside home with a big musical family, she grew up on the classics—Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn—and began performing at thirteen. By twenty-one, she was touring nationally and selling out venues across Europe. Now crafting her first self-produced album, Star blends mariachi roots with modern country textures to tell stories of strength, identity, and perseverance. Her rising voice echoes the heart of this evening: creating spaces where every woman’s story can be heard.

Together, Brigitte, Pauline, and Star embody the past, present, and future of American roots music—three artists, three distinct journeys, one shared passion: using their music to uplift women, celebrate resilience, and spark hope. Their presence at the Silver Spur Soirée is more than entertainment—it is a living tribute to the courage of every survivor we serve.
