George has performed in numerous recovery shows and clubs across the country. He's appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, and A&E. He's opened for Ellen DeGeneres, Jeff Foxworthy, and Dave Chapelle to name a few. It will be a fun evening! Please join us to raise funds for Recover Wyoming's life-saving programs and services. Here are a few photos from last year's event.
About Our Organization
Recover Wyoming is a non-profit and Recovery Community Organization or RCO. We are the only RCO in Wyoming, but are one of over 175 RCOs across the nation. Our mission is to help people find, get, and stay in long-term recovery from substance use disorder. We provide non-clinical, peer-based recovery support services including our Recovery Coach and Telephone Recovery Support programs and our Bridges to Recovery, all-recovery meetings. We also provide services to persons experiencing homelessness through our PATH program. We work with people seeking and in recovery, as well as family members, friends, employers and other community members. We provide recovery support as well as resources and information about the many pathways to recovery. Our Recovery Center is a safe place to receive support, volunteer, and attend recovery-friendly events.
If you are unable to attend our event and do not wish to participate in the online silent auction, you may still make a monetary donation by clicking the button below. All of the proceeds will go directly toward our programs and services.
About the Event
Recovery is a reality in Wyoming. People are getting into long-term recovery from substance use disorder every day. And while many do recover, there are still people dying from the disease of addiction. There is still so much work to be done to help support people struggling with substance use disorder and SAVE LIVES! The Cajun Fest is an opportunity for us to raise awareness and continue to raise funds for this life-saving work. When individuals find recovery, it helps to heal families and communities. We can create a healthier Wyoming if we continue to support recovery efforts across the state.
