The Blue Ribbon Project is a 501(c)(3) community-based, volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization that directly serves abused and neglected children throughout the state of Maryland. We offer a variety of programs to support children and young adults in the foster care system. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $25,000 to support our essential programs such as Backpacks of Love (emergency essentials for children entering foster care), Mirah’s Closet (a free shop for foster children and families), educational programs, and life skills training for our youth in foster care.
