Bloomfield Boosters (big Boosters, or BB) is a volunteer 501c3 organization that collaborates with BHHS sport booster clubs and supports Bloomfield Hills athletic programs from 6th through 12th grade. We have a board of nine members, which include the president, co-presidents, treasurer, treasurer-elect, secretary, Outreach chair, College Recruitment and BHS retention support, Recognition & fundraising, and Booster Collaboration.  We meet as a Board monthly and sponsor a quarterly General Booster Meeting that shares critical, up-to-date information for all sport booster presidents/treasurers.  Attendance is recorded and rewarded. Bloomfield Boosters (BB) also awards athletic Grants, which are accepted during three periods (August 1-15th, November 1-14th and February 15-28th).  Grants are typically awarded for items that will also benefit future teams, collected at the end of the season, and typically provide 50% of the required cost, matched by the requesting team boosters. An essential part of Girls Basketball is helping to develop strong teams for years to come.  There are several opportunities that our BHHS girls basketball players can take part in to spark future interest in basketball.  Please encourage your daughter to participate in some or all of the following community building opportunities!

-Black Hawk Fever - based around the girls and boys Varsity basketball games in February, and all our sports represented on Main Street.

-BH girls basketball middle school recognition night - Basketball boosters will identify one of our home games as a North & South night when we invite our middle school Black Hawks basketball teams to see what BHHS basketball is all about and to be recognized at halftime.  Or, when North plays South, we encourage our high school players to come and cheer them on.

Fundraiser Opportunity:

This year we are doing a calendar fundraiser. If a player fills out the entire calendar, it will cover their $150 booster dues (banquet ticket for player, and team photos/banners).  As a team, we will make a charitable contribution as part of our community service based on the money raised through the fundraiser. 

If interested the athletes will receive a calendar grid numbered 1-31 and get sponsors for each day equating to $1-$31 to complete the service project. (The 1st = $1, 31st=$31, etc).
