This treasured event brings together 400+ people for an evening of feasting, singing, fellowship, and fun. More than 25 of Birmingham’s finest restaurants compete for various People’s Choice Awards: Best Savory Dish, Best Sweet Dish, Chorister’s Choice, Second Skillet, and the coveted Iron Skillet.

At a time when arts education is being reduced in our schools, this organization provides a much-needed outlet for boys to learn musical and life-lessons needed to become successful young men.

What this event supports:

Proceeds from the Taste of Birmingham 2026 support the continued musical education of 150 young men, funding scholarships for 10% of choristers. This event is so important to bridge the gap, as regular tuition only covers one third of the cost. Young men in the BBC learn life skills such as self-discipline, honor, integrity, purity, kindness, truth, diligence, respect, reverence, and joy.
