More than 30 of Birmingham’s finest restaurants compete for various people’s choice awards: Best Savory Dish, Best Sweet Dish, Chorister’s Choice, Second Skillet, and the coveted Iron Skillet.

At a time when arts education is being reduced in our schools, this organization provides a much-needed outlet for boys to learn musical- and life-lessons needed to become successful young men. 

This is your opportunity to help provide the young men in Birmingham with the opportunity for music education, with training in music theory, musical performance, technique and collaboration.

What the event supports

Proceeds from the Taste of Birmingham 2025 support the continued musical education of 150 young men, funding scholarships for 10% of choristers. This event is so important to bridge the gap, as regular tuition only covers one third of the cost. Young men in the BBC learn life skills such as self-discipline, honor, integrity, purity, kindness, truth, diligence, respect, reverence, and joy
