1. All sales are final. No refunds on auction or sale items are permitted. Everything will be sold “as presented.” Mutually agreeable dates and restrictions are a condition of sale.
2. Values indicated for items being auctioned and sold are estimates only and are not warrantied by WPS for tax purposes or for general value.
3. By his or her purchase, the buyer waives any claims for liability against either the school or the donor of the property or services, and neither the school nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of property or services sold.
4. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneer shall have the sole and final decision, either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and sell the item in dispute.
5. If the auctioneer determines that any bid is not commensurate with the value of the article offered, he reserves the right to reject the bid and withdraw the item.
6. Unless otherwise stated, all purchased services, and gift certificates from the Silent Auction must be used or redeemed by December 9, 2026.
In addition to the Auction Rules, please remember Worcester Preparatory School is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization and donations to the school may be tax deductible.
