The Bark Benefit is the most significant fundraiser of the year for Saving Great Animals. Together, we will raise essential funds to support the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of hundreds of dogs in need. Join us on September 20 to learn more about lives you have helped us save this year and help us create more happy tails!

Meet Jodi & Sasha

Jodi Brothers is returning again this year as our long-time Bark Benefit emcee. Jodi has been gracing the airwaves in the greater Seattle area for years, and you can start your day with her on Mornings with Jodi & Bender on 95.7 The Jet. An avid supporter of animal welfare, dog mom, and all-around wonderful human, Jodi has been lending her voice to the Bark Benefit for several years, bringing energy, passion, and fun to our most important event of the year. 

Jodi will be joined onstage by auctioneer Sasha Summer Cousineau, owner of Revel Rouser Events. Sasha is a fundraising auctioneer, emcee, and wedding officiant based in Seattle, WA.  Sasha believes her clients make up the heart and moral compass of our communities which is why she is living her “OccuPassion” every time she gets to serve local non-profit organizations and educational institutions. A lifelong performer passionate about social justice, racial equity, and feminism, she is a skilled, experienced, and caring event professional who has a 360-degree view of events. She is excited to serve as your fundraising auctioneer this evening and thanks you for your generous support of Saving Great Animals.

Together Jodi and Sasha will lead us through a fun evening featuring exciting auction items, happy tails, and many inspiring opportunities to make a BIG impact for rescue dogs.

About Saving Great Animals

Saving Great Animals is one of the largest foster-based rescues in the greater Seattle area, focusing on dogs. Since our inception in 2007, we have lovingly placed more than 9,000 dogs into adoptive homes.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs with a compassionate and ethical approach to care, regardless of breed, health, or behavior. Our focus is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for the dogs in our care and to create an exceptional experience for our fosters, volunteers, and adopters. We are committed to ensuring that each dog finds the right forever home, by making thoughtful and informed matches between dogs and adopters in order to break the cycle of abandonment and to prevent dogs from re-entering the shelter system.
