A Meaningful Feast: Rooted & Rising

A Meaningful Feast will return to Decatur Legacy Park on April 25, 2026 for another unforgettable evening celebrating locally grown food, community resilience, and cultural connection.

A Meaningful Feast brings together 300 guests who value good food, farming, and community - to create meaningful impact for more than 200 farmers and local food systems leaders in Georgia. Our network grows fresh food from many agricultural traditions to sustain their families, strengthen local markets, and support a food system grounded in social responsibility, sustainability, and conservation.

This one-of-a-kind farm-to-table experience features an all-star lineup of 20+ award-winning local chefs and mixologists, led by Executive Chefs Terry Koval (The Deer and The Dove, B-SIDE, Fawn) and Andy Gonzales (Steinbecks, The Companion).

Enjoy a dazzling array of global cuisines, tour one of our multi-cultural gardens—where local families grow more than $24,000 of fresh, culturally relevant produce—and connect with a community rooted in land stewardship, equity, and good food for all.

This year’s theme, Rooted and Rising, reflects our commitment to cultivating a more just and resilient local food system- and we’d love for you to be part of this growing movement!

Learn more About GGN

About Global Growers Network

Global Growers is a network of 200 farmers and local food systems leaders in Georgia who grow fresh food from many agricultural traditions. We grow fresh food for our families and to supply the local markets, and we work together to strengthen our local food economy.

We increase our own economic self-sufficiency, while increasing the availability of fresh and culturally significant foods in our communities. We preserve our agricultural heritage and improve the sustainability, biodiversity and ecological health of our lands. We deepen our communities' engagement with gardens, farms and the stewardship of land.

We operate at seven urban gardens and farms in the metro-Atlanta area. Additionally, our Rockdale Organic Co-Farm in Rockdale County is the 22-acres home to nine new and expanding agricultural businesses, the Harvest View Event Center that offers a retreat house, pavilion and event green, and a beautiful outdoor learning space with walking trails, a pollinator garden and orchards.
