In partnership with the Women’s Commission, the Pinnacle Awards honor women whose leadership, dedication, and service have made a meaningful impact on the Tulsa community. In 2026, we are proud to recognize seven extraordinary women and organizations: Amanda Swope for Community Service; Lewana Dailey for Corporate Business; Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma as Corporate Champion; Dr. Leigh Goodson for Education; Kimberly Hill-Crowell for Health & Wellness; Justice Jones as Rising Star; and Maybelle Wallace, recipient of the Anna C. Roth Award.

About the Event

The Pinnacle Awards began in 1987 as an initiative of the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women to honor exceptional women whose leadership and service shaped the City of Tulsa. These women stood out as changemakers, leading with excellence in their professions while giving back to their communities.

In 2015, the tradition grew stronger when the Mayor’s Commission, now the Tulsa Women's Commission, joined forces with YWCA Tulsa’s Women of the Year celebration. Together, they created a powerful platform to recognize women who embody the mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, advancing social justice, and strengthening families.

Over the past 38 years, more than 340 remarkable women have been honored, each one a testament to courage, leadership, and impact. Their stories inspire, their voices uplift, and their achievements continue to shape a more just and inclusive Tulsa.
