Silent Auction Rules and Regulations
Silent Auction sections will close beginning at approximately 8:30 p.m. A formal announcement will be made and a text will be sent prior to the time of the section closing. However, while every attempt will be made to make the announcements, the countdown to closing is on your bidding device.
- The highest bid entered before the closing time of each section will constitute the winning bid.
- In the event of a dispute, the Auction Officials shall act as the final authority and shall determine the winning bid, if any. Their decision shall be final. Auction Officials reserve the right to remove an item from sale in the event of any bidding irregularities.
- Every effort has been made to describe items completely and accurately. All sales are final and “as is.” There will be no exchanges or refunds on items.
Live Auction
Live Auction will begin at approximately 8:00p.m. and will continue until all items have been sold. The following shall apply to the conduct of the Live Auction:
- In-person guests will raise their paddles to bid on the active auction package as described by the auctioneer.
- Items will be considered sold upon pronouncement of the auctioneer.
- The auctioneer has the right to begin bidding at a level which he considers appropriate. If the auctioneer determines that an opening bid or any subsequent bid is not commensurate with the value of the item offered, he may reject the bid.
- Please be sure to note all restrictions and limitations.
- In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer will have sole and final discretion.
- All sales are final and “as is," there will be no exchanges or refunds on items
General Terms;
- Unless otherwise notated, all certificates expire within 1 year of the event date.
- All auction packages need to be taken home by the winning bidder. If not, charges will be applied to offset the fees of the moving company for transporting them back to Our Lady Star of the Sea.
- In the event that an auction package is left behind and not picked up by April 10, 2024, the item may be resold. No refund will be made.
- In the event of a national crises or natural disaster, Our Lady Star of the Sea is not responsible for its effect on package redemption.
