Schedule of Events
We are planning an in-person event. We are closely monitoring COVID information from the CDC and state health departments across the region. That information includes infection rates, vaccination rates and mitigation recommendations.
As with all other responsible organizations, the health and safety of all our members, guests and staff is our highest priority. To that end, the Upper Midwest Emmy® Chapter Board of Governors, representing media professionals across our five-state region, have voted to implement the following COVID-19 safety protocols for the 2021 Regional Emmy® Awards Gala on Saturday October 9th at the Radisson Blu Mall of America. We ask that all attendees:
· Check-in at their scheduled arrival time to prevent crowding
· Present at check-in either their COVID-19 vaccination card OR a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the event.
· Wear either the complimentary Emmy branded face mask or a face mask of their choice, covering the nose and mouth at all times, except at photo walls, while eating or drinking or presenting on stage
· Remain grouped together with members of their own organizations at the tables
· Not attend if you or anyone in your circles are or have felt unwell or has tested positive for, or is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test. We invite you then to enjoy the show via our livestream.
Free testing is available in:

UPPER MIDWEST EMMY® GALA EVENT GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT
A code of conduct is a collection of rules and regulations that include what is and is not acceptable or expected behavior.
The Events Industry Council, through its member organizations, has offered guidelines outlining steps that can be implemented to provide as safe an environment as possible when meeting in-person. Responsibility is shared equally among event organizers, the event venues and the event attendees – all have a role to play.
Based on our common set of beliefs in the value of live event experiences we know to be true, as stakeholders we all have a role to play in the mitigation of risk. The code of conduct below is meant to serve as a reminder and inspiration to know that if we all collectively respect the significance of this contribution, we are by definition advocating for the well-being of our fellow global citizens and our industry.

Based on current contact tracing advice from many health authorities, if you test positive for COVID-19 up to 14 days after returning home, please contact the meeting/event organizers to advise them.
