It followed the Rhone River going through the finest wine region of France and about some of the heroes who were a part of it, like Audie Murphy, the most decorated soldier in US history.
Following his remarks, Mr. Kershaw will answer your questions, sign books and meet you in person. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Alex Kershaw, born in York, England, is a graduate of Oxford University. He is a journalist, public speaker and renowned author of New York Times best sellers, including The Liberator (basis for the Netflix series), The First Wave, The Bedford Boys, The Longest Winter, and Avenue of Spies.
Alex specializes in WWII history and has led many battlefield tours of Europe. His next tour will be WWII “Victory in Europe” Tour of London, Normandy and Paris, June 8-14, 2022. Alex is on the Board of Friends of the National WWII Memorial in Washington, DC. His next book, Against All Odds, a saga of four Medal of Honor recipients, will be released in March 2022.
