With a street-graffiti sensibility, John Mullins exudes a modern aesthetic that recalls the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat. Boldly colored in a palette of neon tones and saturated primary hues, Mullins’ drawings and sculptures usually revolve around his favorite places, modes of transportation, or objects. Executed in paint pen and acrylic paint, Mullin’s artwork is both gestural and graphic, creating a striking stylistic juxtaposition. Mullins practiced at Creative Growth from 2008 until 2019.

Mullins’s work has been exhibited at NADA Fair, online; Outsider Art Fair, New York; NADA Miami; Outsider Art Fair, Paris; and Cutlog Art Fair, Paris.
