 While Steve is originally from Minnesota, he fell in love with Chicago’s delicacies in 1992. At ABC 7, he was “The Hungry Hound” food reporter for 18 years until he was hired by NBC 5 in 2021, where he became known as “Chicago’s Food Guy”. It doesn’t stop there because he became a one-man producer for his shows during the beginning of the pandemic, as well as providing media training in the food industry.

 Want to prepare by watching Steve in action? You can catch him on NBC 5 every Thursday at 10pm.
