Neal Broten is a former professional ice hockey player who played 17 years in the National Hockey League. He was a member of the 1980 US Olympic hockey team that won the gold medal at Lake Placid in 1980.

Broten was inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame in 2000. He played in over 1000 NHL games and is one of the greatest USA born hockey players of all time.
