General Information:

• To enter a bid, the bidder must be registered and your credit card on file.  
• Every effort was made to provide accurate information for each item.  We are not responsible for description, values, or authenticity of information supplied by donors.
• There are no refunds or exchanges.  
• Auction items may be substituted, withdrawn, or added prior to the event at the committee's discretion.  
• The Fund is an IRS approved 501(c)3 and your donations are tax deductible in accordance with the IRS regulations.  A portion of your auction item purchases may be tax deductible.  Please consult with your tax advisor. Our tax id is 20-0302442  

How does the bidder know if they won?

• A starburst will appear on each item won or lost after the auction closes – or look at My Items in Menu for Winning.  
• A red “PAY” Button will appear on bidding page if you won an item or made a donation.  Click the red PAY and you will see the invoice and list of items won and allow you to check out.

Shipping/Sales Tax:

• There are three pickup locations available:   Cedar, Grand Rapids and Muskegon. If these locations are not convenient or you live outside the area, we will ship to anywhere in continental United States at no charge.  You will be contacted on Thursday & Friday of pickup or shipping needs.  Thank you to our supporters at BTM Industrial in underwriting the cost for this shipping.
• Michigan sales tax will be collected as per Public Acts 167 of 1933, 122 of 1941 and 281 of 1967, as all amended.

Payments:

• Please text Jeanette 231-578-5135 or email her at jrthurow@hotmail.com after you are done bidding or after the auction closes if you prefer to use a different form of payment than the credit card on file.   
• Credit cards will be processed within a couple of days of the event if you have not clicked on the red (made final) payment button at the end of the auction.

About the Ed & Irene Fleis Education Fund 

The Ed & Irene Fleis Education Fund's purpose is to provide scholarships for students in financial need with roots from our community. Scholarships are for college and/or post high school trade schools. Scholarship winners are selected independently of the Board. Full information on eligibility is posted on our website www.fleiseducationfund.org.  The previous scholarship winners are also listed at the same website.  

This fund has very low overhead.  There are no paid staff - all are volunteers. There are two fund raisers annually - the golf outing held usually on the first Saturday of August and the Annual Fundraiser and Auction.  The Fund has awarded over $757,000 in scholarships to over 425 students since 2006. 

We appreciate the donation and bidding of the auction items, financial donations, and sponsors.  Together, we continue to make a huge difference in providing scholarships for students in financial need.  The Fund has awarded over $757,000 in scholarships and over 423 students were helped since 2006.
