About Artwork & Artist Bio: Dottie Lo Bue’s work centers around themes of anxiety, a search for gentleness within it, and how surreal both of those things can be. She holds an MFA in Fine Arts from California College of the Arts where she was selected as a Barclay Simpson Award recipient by jurors Maria Castro, Assistant Curator at SFMOMA, and Anthony Graham, Senior Curator at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive.
