905 - Rocky Mountain Arsenal with Ms. Heilbron and Ms. Johnson (Grades 4-5)

Your 4th or 5th grader can join Ms. Heilbron and Ms. Johnson for an exciting adventure through the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge! 

Pack a lunch and meet at the Refuge, located just 10 miles northeast of Denver, this vast 15,000-acre refuge is home to more than 330 species of wildlife, including bison, deer, bald eagles, and more. We’ll explore one of the many easy, flat trails, perfect for hikers of all levels, and take in the beautiful scenery of lakes, prairies, and wetlands where we will be ready for possible sightings of wildlife like prairie dogs and coyotes as we wander through nature.
