401 - Ballistic Helmet

Navy SEALs use ballistic helmets in both training and combat. They’re known for their light weight and adaptability. These helmets are customizable with various accessories, making them well-suited for covert and maritime operations.  

Tactical Ballistic Helmets (BH) are made for high performance in the toughest combat environments, offering ballistic protection from 9mm up to .44 magnum. The FAST BH is readily identified as the primary choice for Special Operations Forces worldwide. With a super high cut shell made of a lightweight composite of cutting-edge Carbon, Unidirectional Polyethylene, and woven Aramid, the FAST is designed for ultimate protection.  

The unique shell geometry delivers critical coverage while optimizing balance and stability, integration capabilities, and user comfort. The Modular Bungee Shroud (MBS) reduces snag hazards and interference with the high cut ballistic helmet. This helmet includes:

• Side railings
• NVG shroud 
• 2 lanyards for stabilization of NVG
• 1 rail adaptor, Adjustable straps 
• 5 padded inserts
• Head Circumference: Medium: 21-22.3 inches & Large: 22.4-24 inches 
• Bullet protection as in accordance with NIJ standard 0101.06 against: 
  9mm FMJ RN /  .40 S&W /  .44 magnum JSP / .357 SIG FMJ FN  
• Weight: 3.2 lbs

This “FAST” helmet is like those used in combat and training. 

This Level IIIA Helmet uses American Blast Systems' advanced plant and processing techniques to provide enhanced shell protection at a lower weight and with improved comfort. Ballistic protection is offered against a variety of bullets to NIJ Standard 0106.01 and fragment simulated projectiles.
