Not the largest but one of the hardiest of the famous “Corpse Flowers”, this species is reliable in well-drained sites outdoors in zone 7. It is among the few species in the genus that is self-fertile, it will reliably produce an attractive infructescence of pink berries that eventually shift to sapphire blue when ripe. At least four well-started plants in a gallon pot, probably a few years away from flowering… if not sooner.
