One of the easier to grow cultivars of Cymbidium. A miniature form with a strongly fragrant and attractive flower with green petals and a white lip with a few maroon spots. Best grown as a houseplant in the Raleigh area. There are a few C. goeringii specimens that can be grown outside here, but we just do not know about this one. This species is also called the scholars orchid because Confucius was the first person to write about it. It requires a cool period below 50F to initiate flowering.
