This really neat Myrtle family member is one of the hardier in the family, this one being a cutting grown selection of plants from Cape Canaveral, Florida, which have thrived in Aiken SC for decades. This is a slightly smaller leaf form and a lighter fruited one than the material from Tamaulipas Mexico, but like that form, it has the most amazing peeling bark with age. This has sailed through the teens for us so far!
