This cluster-flowering species from Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangdong makes a spectacular floral display because of its heavy bud set. Dozens of long, pointed flower buds cover the ends of the branches, reminiscent of a moravian star. Single, white, irregular flowers open again small, reticulate leaves. This clone originated at Massee Lane Gardens in Georgia.
