From the Carpathian mountains of eastern Europe comes this extremely fragrant wallflower. Full sun and very well drained soil (scree, rock garden etc.) are needed. This is a short lived perennial, best to cut back hard immediately after flowering to keep it vigorous. The delicate, ferny foliage is just amazing even without any flowers.
