Historic Boldt Castle offers a glimpse into one of the most compelling love stories of the 1000 Islands region. George C. Boldt planned to build a full size castle on Heart Island in honor of his wife, but when she died suddenly he stopped all construction. The 1000 Islands Bridge Authority, acquired the property in 1977, and refurbished the abandoned castle and grounds. They have donated 4 adult combo admission tickets to tour both Boldt Castle and the Yacht House. They will be opening on May 11 for the 2024 season! Online at boldtcastle.com
