Jack Eggman, Untitled, set of 2 monotype prints with copper overlay, Artist Proofs, 30.5 x 24 in. each framed (29.5 X 21.5 in. unframed) Jack R. Eggman is a third generation Arizonian. As a descendant from copper miners it is not surprising that this mystical metal believed to have healing properties has become a sacred, identifying factor in his art. After being educated in the Tucson schools and serving in the army, he attended Pima College, where he majored in art. Eggman concentrates on original one-of-a-kind monotype prints, which are done in ink. His creations reflect his interest in primitive art, cubism, and emphasize tones, color values, and color combinations.
