With three of Dorothy’s original cabins on-site, visitors explore diverse exhibits within them related to the creation of the BWCAW, Dorothy’s life and impact on the region as both a trained nurse and female owner/operator of a wilderness fishing resort starting in 1948, as well as Museum visitors’ impact on the current and future management of our wilderness areas.
