184 - An Invitation for a Fun Day at Thistledown

Spend a full day at Thistledown. The experience is for TWO people to experience the fun!  Start with a tour (did you know there is a new building) and work toward the back paddock at Thistledown Race Track at 7 A.M. -- what the public sees and what the public cannot see! Have you ever wondered what actually happens on RACE Day?!?!  Work your way from the paddock and view the horses for that day's races.   Watch a morning training session as Doug trains his horse for the race of the day.  Yes, Doug Shanyfelt is the owner/trainer!  Ask all the questions you want!  Take pictures! Enjoy the experience! Be side by side with the jockeys. Be with your horse from training to the real race time. If your horse wins, YOU will be in a picture in the WINNER'S CIRCLE. Lunch will be provided by Sirna's Cafe, compliments of Brett Holycross, owner of Sirna's Cafe. 

You may never have an opportunity to spend a day at Thistledown, or any racetrack, like this experience!  

This experience can be arranged on a Thursday during the months of June or July 2024.
