2024 White Marlin Open Basic Entry

You are bidding on:

1. One (1) basic entry into the 2024 White Marlin Open (Date: August 5-9, 2024)

The White Marlin Open is a 50-year-old deep-sea fishing tournament held annually in Ocean City, Maryland. Long known as the “World’s Largest Billfishing Tournament,” the Open has awarded over $105 million for catches of the gamefish that migrate up the Gulf Stream each summer. The first tournament was held in 1974 and drew 57 boats, 150 anglers, and paid $20,000 in prize money.  The 2023 event drew 400 boats, over 3,500 contestants, and awarded over $10.5 million dollars in prize money, including the top individual prize of $6.23 million dollars which established a new world record award for the catch of a fish!

Basic Entry does not include any additional added entry levels.

1. Anyone may fish in the Annual White Marlin Open, August 5-9, 2024.
2. To enter, you must either; (a) officially register a boat, and/or (b) be registered as an angler on an officially registered boat, prior to fishing.
3. There is no limit on the number of anglers that can be registered with a boat. That entry entitles the anglers to compete for guaranteed prize money. After the boat is officially entered in the tournament, the anglers have the option of entering their boat in the added skill levels. Entry fees for the added skill levels will be taken at the late registration.
4. Must present award certificate in person at the time of registration, either Sat Aug. 3rd, or Sun Aug. 4th at Harbour Island Marina, 14th St. & the bay.
