Fossilized Spinosaurus Tooth.

The Spinosaurus was an abundant dinosaur in the river deltas of what is now North Africa. Like sharks and other dinosaurs, Spinosaurus shed its teeth frequently as it grew or its teeth became worn. The area of Morocco was optimal for fossilization. The teeth quickly became buried in mud and sand in the river delta preserving them. This tooth is almost 6" long.
