15 - Left Handed Höfner Bass Guitar sign by Paul McCartney

'Iconic' is an understatement. Left-handed Höfner Bass signed by Paul McCartney. As the story goes, Paul McCartney bought his first Höfner Bass in 1961 at the prestigious Steinway Musikhaus shop in Hamburg - he needed one, you see, because he had just been elected to replace Stuart Sutcliffe. The rest, as they say, is history. Due to its unique shape and finish, this instrument is commonly referred to as the Violin Bass (see what we did there, Mr. Perlman?).
