This exclusive Newport, RI combo features two American sailing classics. Set sail on 12 Meter America's Cup Yacht American Eagle and enjoy two nights accommodation for two people at the New York Yacht Club's stunning Harbour Court.
Experience Newport, RI from beautiful Narragansett Bay on your 2-hour private charter for up to 13 people. American Eagle was built for the 1964 America’s Cup campaign and Ted Turner was twice named Yachtsman of the Year while owner/skipper of American Eagle. Hoist the sails and you're underway! Ask your captain and crew questions about the history of the yacht and the America’s Cup, and any questions you have about sailing. Under the crews’ direction, you may explore the yacht during your sail.
While in Newport, spend two nights at the New York Yacht Club's Harbour Court. Standing on eight acres overlooking Brenton's Cove, the Renaissance Norman-style mansion was completed in 1906 for the John Nicholas Brown family. John Nicholas Brown was commodore of the NYYC from 1952-54. Through the years, the Harbor Court has become the national- and international-focal point of many of yachting's premier events.
