Who knew that a bullet, fired through a plate of silver, in this instance, a 9mm, would create such a lovely pendant?

From The Creators:

I am Tracker Dan, I have been a wilderness survival and tracking instructor since 1995 and a Navy SEAL since 2002, I am currently serving in the active reserves on SEAL Team 17. When at home, I teach survival and tracking, marksmanship and tactics, and hand-to-hand combat and provide personal protection. One of my major activities is designing and making sheaths, holsters, and edged weapons/tools.

Humble Gratitude and Respect! - Derrick Obatake

The KillboX originally came about from combining Derrick’s passion for target shooting and creating jewelry. It has also evolved to be a piece of inspiration for many including Cancer victims and those suffering from PTSD. Cancer is stamped on a blank plate of silver then shot. Metaphorically killing cancer. It is then mounted into a frame that can have inspirational graphics or phrases.

 SEAL Team KillboX

The front plate is Sterling Silver and was shot by Tracker Dan with a 9mm. It is hand signed on the back by Dan and Derrick. The frame is made from stainless steel and finished in Heat Treated Vintage Gunmetal™ (Steel Flame’s proprietary finish). The blue screws that hold the plate are titanium.

 The graphics on the frame:

The “Bone Frog” has been used by SEAL Teams for many years, this particular version was created by Steel Flame specifically to support Navy SEALs and their families. It has been used to raise funds for Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation and special tags were made and given to families of fallen SEAL Team members. “It is an honor to be able to use it once again to support the National Navy SEAL Museum.”

  • The silver skull is a symbol of the warrior within. The small flag on the right corner is forward facing as in always moving forward and never retreating.
  • Never Alone on the left corner – In life we are never alone and have the support of others that care.
  • Godspeed Warrior - We are all warriors in life, each with our own battles. Go forward with strength and success.

The KillBox pendant is co-branded with Steel Flame and Tracker Dan engravings on the side of the piece, make it a very unique collectible piece.

This is one of two pieces (its companion will be auctioned on Derrick’s site with the proceeds going to the Navy SEAL Museum).
