This 24x30 original canvas painting is a Chance Vought F-4U Corsair Titled “The Scout” and was customized by Daniel just for the BASH!!! He has commissioned to complete a set of 5 original aircraft paintings. This is set 1 of 5. If you are interested in purchasing one of the 4 left in the set, Daniel will paint any aircraft you desire.
“As I’d gone through the years, learning from my father “Robert Butler”, a renown Florida landscape/wildlife artist, I was always looking for a way to expand my abilities, but waited to do new things, because Florida itself, has so many beautiful places to paint. Then, I read the story of “Devotion”, which featured the Corsair planes, which reminds me of our Osprey, bird of prey. After being commissioned to paint a scene reminiscent of the story, I am now fascinated with the planes of old. This painting, is definitely the first in a series of (5) planes I will do. Hopefully, each will be better than the last.”
