Distylium is an evergreen shrub that is coming into widespread use in southern gardens as a replacement for cherry laurel, Japanese holly or boxwood. Evergreen, compact, disease and insect resistant, heat and drought tolerant and grows in wet soils too. This variegated selection came to us from renowned plant collector Ozzie Johnson.
