Wines Of Style And Character

Jean-Noel Fourmeaux, owner and founder of VGS Chateau Potelle, was sent to the Napa Valley by the French government in 1980 to "spy" for 6 months.

This son of Bordeaux sent a telegram home: "Looks good, I stay."

This is your opportunity to enjoy what he found!

This package includes two bottles of his finest. Piece de Resistance 2018 Napa Valley 83 % Cabernet Sauvignon & 17% Merlot

“Yes it is so rare when all the stars align: plenty of rain in the winter and spring consistently warm but never hot temperatures, creating the most ideal growing conditions in my thirty-seven harvests. 100% Napa Valley”.

This was the occasion to craft the “Perfect Napa Valley Blend” from Napa’s three top appellations 14% Mount Veeder, 33% Oakville,33% Rutherford. (750ml) 50/50 Cuveè, a one of a kind blend, truly never been achieved before. 50% from America. 50% from France.

"In 2018 I will have been in America for 50% yes 1/2 of my life and that my friends is cause to celebration!!! This commemorative fiftyFIFT, is an imaginative and appropriate blend of a delicious 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from America and 35% Merlot and 15% Petit Verdot from France. Enjoy."
