About The Bridge Golf Club:

This 18-hole private golf course was designed in 2002 by Rees Jones at the request of the club founder, Robert Rubin. It occupies the former Long Island Raceway on South Fork, also owned by Rubin. If you look closely, you can see the race car theme still lingers along the course. You will also be amazed by the incredible views of Long Island Sound, Peconic Bay and beyond from several locations on this prize 500-acre property. In addition to the breath-taking vistas and dramatic design, members and guests enjoy a course that contains more than 150 elevation changes and numerous bunkers that add interest and create challenge. The distance is 7,341 yards from the longest tees, and the course has a par value of 72 with a rating of 76.1 and a slope of 140. The new clubhouse perches on the highest point on Long Island. Stylishly informal and definitely non-traditional, some have called “The Bridge” the epitome of the 21st-century private golf club. In keeping with the personal tastes of its owner, eclectic interior design mixes race car motifs with luxurious furniture from 17th century France. The best clubhouse views are from the men’s and women’s locker rooms, a favorite lingering place. There is no dress code, but good taste is expected. Dining and bar facilities are designed to be excellent but small and intimate in size.

About Richard Kind:

Richard Kind is an American actor who has managed to leave a lasting impression on viewers despite almost exclusively appearing in supporting roles in films and TV series. In his TV career, spanning more than 30 years, he has delivered a number of standout performances, including ‘Mad About You’, ‘Red Oaks’, ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’, ‘Scrubs’ and ‘Spin City’. He has also been part of several highly-rated movies like ‘Argo’ (2012), ‘The Producers’ (2005) and ‘A Serious Man’ (2008). He started his acting innings on stage, and from there, he branched out to commercial cinema and television. However, theater has remained his first love, and some of his most notable Broadway credits include ‘Sly Fox’ (2004), ‘The Producers’ (2005) and ‘The Big Knife’ (2013). Kind is also a very popular voice actor, who has not only lent his voice to various animated movie and TV characters, but also to numerous radio advertisements. In an industry where most people come to earn name and fame, artists like Kind are rare who are content with the audience recognizing him only by their faces. In an interview, he said: “I don't want people to know my name. I just want people to love me".
